Weather will be mainly fair, apart from a few widely scattered snow showers in the south, but there will be some fine intervals locally, more especially in sheltered areas in the west and north. It will continue very cold with frost day and night in most areas' At 0600 hours-Easterly airstream continues to cover the British Isles with winds to F5 on the east coast. Largely cloudy over southern and western districts but clearer skies over NE England and eastern Scotland. Mainly clear skies over near Continent although N.France has more cloud. Light snow reported from Collinstown (nr Dublin) and Benbecula (w.Scotland) otherwise dry. Lowest temperatures are once again in the area of clear skies to the east with Skagen (n.Denmark) reporting 5°F (-15.0°C). Over the British Isles the lowest temperature is 21°F (-6.1°C) at Mildenhall and the highest 35°F(1.7°C) at Cape Wrath. Overnight minima-lowest is10°F (-12.2°C) at Dalwhinnie (which does not report at 0600)and the highest 33°F (0.6°C) at Aberdeen and Malin Head. Previous day's maxima-lowest is 24°F(-4.4°C) at Little Rissington and the highest 38°F(3.3°C) at Tiree.
