Particular days/events

During the late afternoon of the 4th the temperature fell from 12°C to 6°C
in 45minutes during a thunderstorm.
The 18th was an eventful day with 18.3mm of rain (midnight-midnight), a
temperature fall from 10.3°C to 4.8°C during the heaviest precipitation in
the afternoon with air pressure falling to a value of 975.1mb.

 

 

Month as a whole

Third warmest April since 1979. We now have to go back as far as 1991 to
find an April colder than the 1971-2000 long term average. The last 3 Aprils
have all been at least 2degC warmer than the long term average.
